Ive gotten several jobs recently to install new lawns on an old corn field, and I was wondering how everybody else is preparing the soil. Usually I can find a farmer with a soil finisher, but the time is comming soon when I will have to buy my own imps. I have a 28hp massey (1240). Should I use a Disc, plow, powerrake, till, pulverize, drag, what are other people using these days? I typacally do 1-3 acre jobs. Thanks!

Jack mentioned pre-seeders in a recent thread titled 'power rakes.' I hadn't heard of pre-seeders before and they might be worth checking out. The discussion also has comments about York and Harley rakes. ....
